- A scene of Thomas Topper and Vincent Gracey's mortal life, with Thomas scolding an annoyed Gracey for losing his hat yet again.
- A comparison of the Hatbox Ghost's mortal and ghost faces.

“So here we have my version of a mortal Hatbox Ghost (which might still be, graphically speaking, subject to some changes in the future; even that sketch is a little old already), next to the Ghost Host, who didn't change much since then (except that his skin wasn't blue at the time, but you can't really see that here anyway).
In my headcanon, the Ghost Host was Lord Vincent Beauregard Gracey, one of the richest and most respected men in the country, while Thomas Hatter, the Hatbox Ghost, was a relatively wealthy haberdasher, of whom Lord VBG was a recurring client, as it was fashionable in those days for rich men to wear top hats. Vincent Beauregard Gracey, being the ridiculously tall man he was, kept losing or damaging his hats when passing small doors, or just forgot them somewhere — he never really cared for them. Hattie, very devoted to his job, often called his client on it — it made him sad to see his li'l hats so badly mistreated. Not that the Ghost Host ever listened. In that way, at the time, the Ghost Host and the Hatbox Ghost's relationship was already pretty much what it is today -- they needed each other because of society pressures, but neither actually cared for the other's services all that much.
