A "First-Level Canon Character" comes from the rides themselves.
Second-Level Canonicity[]
A "Second-Level Canon Character" comes from abandoned concepts for the rides.
Third-Level Canonicity[]
A "Third-Level Canon Character" is based on the ride but heavily altered (this happens most often with names featured on tombstones that have no canonical personality or appearance).
Fourth-Level Canonicity[]
A "Fourth-Level Canon Character" comes from official information or media about the ride such as the Ghost Post, in continuity with the ride itself.
Fifth-Level Canonicity[]
A "Fifth-Level Canon Character" comes from official but self-proclaimedly non-canonical sources, such as the SLG comics or the 2003 movie. Such characters have often been significantly altered from their original portrayals to the version featured in the comics.
